Paintings have recently been a major avenue of accessing walking projects with artwork using acrylic, mixed media, oils and water-based mediums.  The Erme Estuary Project was revisited in 2012 resulting in 14 small mixed media paintings documenting the sensory essence of the estuary.  Recently water-based mediums and oils gave rise to different visual documentation of familiar locations reflecting different aspects and narrative in the walks.
